I've got a few more details about the release of Bob Funk, and if anyone wants to help out, I'll gladly pass along the contact info:

Hello all!  Please forgive me in advance for such mass emailing and blatant whoring, however the life of an indie has fully suppressed all dignity I used to have. Below you'll see the flyer for the LA Opening of my film "Bob Funk" at the Sunset Laemmle 5. It's running for a full week, with the actual show times to be announced on the Laemmle website, probably late next week (click here for that site).  Please, please forward this to EVERYONE you know!  The first week is how the further distribution of the film is determined, so we need to get as many people there as possible.

We're also looking for volunteers to "sponsor" the different screenings.  This would mean getting a gang together for a specific show time.  If you, or anyone you know, is interested in this, please contact me.  Obviously, this will be easier to sort out when we have actual show times to discuss.

The film is tentatively scheduled to be opening in New York around mid to late March.  There will be more information forthcoming about that (it's a roll-out release, LA, New York, Chicago, Portland, OR and Dallas).  With each city, but especially Los Angeles as the first, higher attendance leads to the distributors "adding screens".
