On the Drama with Christian Bale

In case you haven't heard:  http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/christian-bale-being-a-prick-to-a-dp/

I'd like to get my hands on the little shit who decided to take that recording home and publish it. More than anyone else, he deserves to have a black ball wrapped around his neck with thick, thick chains.

My set is sacred. You DO NOT exploit it for personal fame, or for laughs, or for YouTube hits. McG, Christian Bale, and the DP deserve the same respect.

If it were my set, I'd be spitting blue flame. I don't mind bits of story leaking out, or design work, or things like that. All that means is that people are too interested in the movie to wait - curiosity is healthy and positive. But you do not - YOU DO NOT - screw around with my actors or my crew. Whatever happens on set, whatever crops up in the process of getting through the script, that's what the set is for. Perserving that creative safety is essential to the art. That promise to the people bringing the movie into existence is inviolate. I don't care if it's Terminator 4 or Autumn Sonata.

I have no sympathy or mercy in my heart for that kid. Send him back to Jersey with his broken dreams to keep him company.

I have a need to know that as a community, as a team, we're here for the film and each other. That's how I choose my collaborators, and I don't doubt that in the case of Terminator 4, both Christian Bale and the DP feel the same way. Somebody else wasn't on the same page. I'd like to know who.
