A Man Who Never Died
Over the last two days, I wrote the last half of the rough draft for Sam Bailey. While I did a little journaling, got some resumes out, wrote a few pages into SkyChasers and watched a movie or two (three, actually: Mystic River, Firefox, xXx, and the first ten minutes of Star Trek V) there really wasn't much else to my weekend.
When I'm writing, I tend to use naps, meditation, meals, baths, and movies to break up my day. Like Sifu Marcus says, managing energy and focus is essential, and sprinting is more healthy than long-distance running.
Still, the movies and baths get overused, and do I really need to write 20 pages a day? In two weeks I have a meeting that might yield some work, and I'm hoping a Digit read will yield some results. Is this creative burst clearing the deck for something incredible, or am I just overworking myself?
Receiving the incredible fits in there somewhere, I'll mark you.

Patience is the art of concealing your impatience.
