Those who know the strange, tangled story of my love life know there's quite a story to tell, and they've seen it crop up in everything from Shardfall to Digit.

Today, I began the process of writing a romantic comedy.

It's called Heartsgaard, and my lead character's name is Conrad.  What it's about, in simple terms, is how things catch up with you.  Life, love, everything.

Time for a break from the brimstone-hurling scripts I've been writing.  Beyond that, if the next few weeks pan out, the troubles of a ten-year-old boy named Andy MacAuland may take a back seat to a certain other project I've struggled with...

I'm using this moment, where things have slid momentarily beyond my control, to let something new grow.  Something fun.  Something good.

Besides, it's about time I found a way to tell this story!

Why?

Because nothing's funnier than a guy trying to prove he's not crazy.  You must have noticed!
