Today is my first day back at the Unified offices since the injury, and everyone has been extremely helpful and accommodating.  My leg is up, as per the surgeon's orders, and it looks like staying at work through all of this is going to be relatively easy.

My thanks go out to everyone at Unified Pictures, and most especially to Kurt for flying to my rescue on Thursday - not for the first time!  Like I mentioned on my MySpace, I extend my very special gratitude to the Lady Doré Damelin for all her love, care, and assistance over the last few days.

With the question of work firmly in hand, I know this recovery is going to be quick.  If it does impact my creative and financial goals, the fantastic lessons I'm learning will more than offset any inconveniences.  All in all, this is turning out to be more of an eye-opener than anything else.

This year is getting more interesting by the day!  I may have mentioned this before, but the feeling I'm experiencing most is gratitude.  Some very good things are coming - stay tuned!
