New Portraits

As many of you know, my mother was a professional photographer.  Since I left home for Andover back in high school, I've had absolutely no professional photographs taken of me, and only the occasional snapshot.

Recently, I hired a fellow filmmaker by the name of Anne Norda to shoot the publicity stills I'll need as Farther rolls into festivals, as well as for my online presence.  Having seen the photos for the first time today, I'm delighted with the results and recommend Anne to anyone in need of portrait work.  To take a look at what she did for me, take a look at an album I posted on MySpace.  We shot two rolls at the Getty Center, and I've posted only a handful of the fantastic shots she got.  Beyond that, we had a fabulous time.  For a closer look at other work Anne has done, check out www.annenorda.com.

Anne is looking to build a business taking commissioned gallery-quality portraits of children.  If anyone is interested in having portraits of their little screamers that will serve as more than just a record of their looks, you won't find better than her.

For actors looking for headshots or folks like me looking for still portraits, I've heard Anne is looking to narrow the focus of her photography business to a clientelle more domesticated than rapscallions like ourselves.  That said, if we know each other personally and you inform me of your interest, I may be able to plead your case.  If I do, I need you carnies to be civil and timely!  Believe me, she's worth it.
